The Agriculture and Food Management Institute (AFMI) was established with a global perspective of assisting all the stakeholders of the Agri-Food Business for effective and efficient management of their concern. We are the first and foremost Agri-Food Management Institute in India to cater 'Pre farm to Post fork' requirement of the Industry with an integrated approach by providing various services like Education, Consultancy, Training, Research, Human Resource Solution and Integrated Information.


For Educational Service, AFMI offers Two Years Full-Time AICTE Approved Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture & Food Business Management- PGDM (AFB), which is equivalent to MBA.
AFMI is funded entirely by private corporations, foundations, and individuals from around the world, who believe in its vision. It was conceived as a not for profit organization.
With increased globalization, AFMI sees a few critical trends which will influence its direction for its services, as mentioned earlier in the coming years:

1. Changing consumer demands of food.
2. The requirement for global competencies.
3. Increasing interest in management best practices in emerging markets, including India.
